REVISED LEARNING MEMOIR (15 points)
Your essay should be double-spaced and 3-4 pages long (900-1,200 words).
Your paper will center around one aspect of what you learned this semester. It can be a concept, a new way of approaching invention, research or composition, a strategy for working with others, a new way of thinking about composing based on your work in media other than alphabetic writing (podcasts and presentations). You can choose whatever you prefer as long as it’s only one concept/idea/strategy and that you can make an argument for how it has influenced your learning.
Once you have your topic, you will write an essay where you answer the following questions:
1. How did this approach/strategy/idea improve your learning processes?
2. In which way do you think it will affect your learning in the future?
Make sure you quote at least three texts from our class using MLA in-text citations and creating a Works Cited page. Consult the Purdue OWL to answer questions about MLA citations.
The focus of this essay is the relationship between your learning style and something you learned in this class. Make sure that you keep both those topics running through your whole essay or you will end up with an essay that doesn't fulfill the assignment requirements.
